Our Latest Bikes

The Bikes below are examples of what we have – plenty more in store

This page needs updating but it is a good selection of the bicycles we currently have in stock, approximately 50 – 60 bikes from £65 – £450+ for adult bikes. Children’s bikes from £15.

All bicycles will have been stripped to the frame and worn parts and components replaced and usually upgraded from the standard OEM part.

We are open on the second Saturday of the month, 10am – 2pm, when we bring most bicycles and accessories downstairs. All the bikes are easier to view rather then in the gallery where they are stored.

We are also more than happy to sell you a bike whenever we are open – that is every Monday and Friday (except Bank Holidays) 10am – 4:30pm.

Racing Green Raleigh Gents Roadster

This bike is fantastic, we couldn’t believe it when it arrived, its good enough for a museum. Absolutely pristine frame, new (in 1974) Sturmey Archer 3 speed Hub which was first fitted to the bike last week!!, new shifter and gear cable, chrome rod brakes, original pump, original saddle, dynamo lighting system. This bike was donated by a lovely old gent who said he paid £47 for this when new in the 60’s and has been stored indoors from new, it was regularly used but clearly only in good weather. This classic British bike may be a bit heavier than the modern rider is used to, but it was built to last.

This would be the perfect bike for joining the tweed run (http://www.tweedrun.com) around Hyde Park

Better picture(s) to follow on Monday (I was a tad busy today) – we also have a compatible period rack and saddle bags available for this bike

Red Apollo ‘Excelle’ Full Suspension

We don’t normally do many of these, but I am assured that there is still a market for them. This is a fairly hefty full suspension bike suitable for a tall child/teenager. It has a nice clean frame, V brakes, thumb shifters and a 15 speed drive chain. I’m not a massive fan of these bikes hence the bargin price.

Black & Red Flame pattern Schwinn ‘Stingray’ cruiser

This is not our usual offering on this site, but when we were given it we couldn’t resist. Think Dennis Hopper in Easy Rider but without the 1200cc engine – yes it weighs an absolute ton (the front forks and handle bar assembly alone probably out weighs my road bike) but it does look kind of cool. It is a single speed easy rider chopper, it feels very odd to ride, I would hate to have to try and source a rear tyre and inner tube (they are 4″ wide). It comes with V brakes front and rear, leather saddle, centre stand and lots of chrome

Ideal for cruising on Venice Beach and road trips to Mexico – might be a bit tricky if you want to pick up your shopping from Sainsbury
